Andrew J. Morgan, MS, PD
Andrew Morgan has been a special education advocate and professional in the special education field since 1969. In addition to 23 years as a special education teacher, he also served as the Director of Special Education for several New Jersey school districts, a learning consultant with various child study teams and an educational consultant and psychotherapist for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Mt. Sinai Medical Center. He has particular expertise in autism, behavioral disabilities, learning disabilities and instructional program development.
Mr. Morgan graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelors degree in English and Education. He later earned three Master of Science degrees from Brooklyn College (CUNY) in Special Education, one specializing in Students with Emotional Handicaps, another in Students with Learning Disabilities and a third in Educational Leadership (Administration and Supervision). Mr. Morgan is licensed as a special educator in both New York and New Jersey.
In 1982, Mr. Morgan was named Special Education Teacher of the Year by the New York City Board of Education.
